Hometeck Services offers comprehensive services for certifying homes to the Energy Star for Homes program,  NAHB's Green Build certification and LEED for homes certification.

Builders participating in any of the programs requiring our certification services, please open our Project Registration Form , fill in the details of your project and submit it to us.  This is now a requirement for any project to be verified by us, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

The Energy Star program as well as Green Build programs require a minimum of two on site inspections.  The mid construction or Thermal Enclosure Checklist (TEC) looks at the insulation and potential thermal bypasses and air infiltration pathways and must be preformed prior to sheet rock installation.  The final inspection includes the blower door and duct leakage tests as well as final confirmation of HVAC equipment and other energy features of the home.  

When you are ready to have your project inspected, contact us via phone, text, email or open our Inspection Request Form, fill in the details and submit it to us.  It is your responsibility to inform us when you are ready for these inspections.  We can not be responsible if your home fails due to a missed inspection because you failed to inform us.
 
Starting in 2011, the Energy Star program requires additional documentation from the Builder and the HVAC Contractor.  Please open the checklist link (below) and return the completed forms to us prior to finalizing the certification of your project.  We can not certify homes without these check lists fully completed and submitted to us.
 
This document contains several checklists that are required to be completed for certification in the Energy Star for Homes program.  The checklists required to be completed by the Builder and the HVAC contractor are listed below.  The remaining checklists will be verified and completed by us.
